Track-side for Train Operation Control System


1)This paper is a summary of development of Communications Based Train Control and the application of GSM-R in Train Operation Control System; Through analyzing the safety of wireless communications between On-board and Track-side, it points out the potential safety threats and countermeasures, including end-to-end(safety layer)safety measures and Password-based authentication technology; Focused on analyzing the safety mechanisms of Euroradio, including the plane of Safe Functional Module、Service primitives、Service definition and Functions of the safety layer, it discusses the authentication technology and data encryption technology.(2)According to in-depth analysis of safety layer, it uses of data encryption technology to complete the certification process based on the process of Message Origin Authentication and Peer Entity Authentication. MAC is the process to ensure the integrity of transmission of information safety and authentication in safety protocol, and MAC used to improve the calculation of the DES algorithm, that is, 3-DES encryption algorithm. FPGA is characterized by speed、safe、flexible and so on, so we implemente encryption system based on FPGA. There are some development tools such as Modelsim、QuartusII for software and hardware system design and simulation. This paper puts forward high-speed computing methods to improve the circuit design in the end.Authentication、data encryption and other safety measures ensure the safety of an open Wireless Communication System, and they make it a safe transmission channel between On-board and Track-side in Train Operation Control System.
